Winter Holidays
We have been studying winter holidays to include, Hannakah, Kwanzaa, and Christmas. We have been very busy making crafts each day. Mrs. Shafer promises that she will post new pictures tomorrow. One thing that we have learned is that all holidays have candles in their celebrations. We thought that was very interesting.

Turkeys on Parade
Today was turkey day. The children had a homework assignment: To decorate and disguise their turkey so we couldn't find it to eat! The second set of turkeys were maade from each child's footprint, and the third was the tasty kind made of candy.
Cayla's mom also brought a cake for us to celebrate the holidays with.

Thanksgiving Dinner
Today was a very busy day. We began the day with Ronald McDonald and his magic Reading show and continued with our "Bring a special person to lunch". We have several people visit. McKynzies's Mom and Dad, Makayla's Grandmother, Ryan's Mom and baby sister, and Canyon's Aunt and Michael stayed for lunch. The lunchroom was really crowded.

Churn, churn, the ice cream!
A few weeks ago we had Mr. and Mrs. Crowther help us make ice cream for the letter "i". We found out that it took a lot of work to make milk and cream turn into the tasty desert.

What is a blog?
A blog allows a teacher to summarize what’s going on in the classroom and share it with parents that have Internet access.
Blogs can be used as a platform for highlighting the best work of students, showcasing their talent to an audience that goes beyond the classroom.
