Turkeys on Parade

Today was turkey day. The children had a homework assignment: To decorate and disguise their turkey so we couldn't find it to eat! The second set of turkeys were maade from each child's footprint, and the third was the tasty kind made of candy.
Cayla's mom also brought a cake for us to celebrate the holidays with.

Thanksgiving Dinner

Today was a very busy day. We began the day with Ronald McDonald and his magic Reading show and continued with our "Bring a special person to lunch". We have several people visit. McKynzies's Mom and Dad, Makayla's Grandmother, Ryan's Mom and baby sister, and Canyon's Aunt and Michael stayed for lunch. The lunchroom was really crowded.

Today we are making turkeys out of our footprints.  It was messy!  Paint everywhere.  We are learning new Thanksgiving songs.  We hope you like this one.

Mrs. Shafer was absent

Thursday I had to leave school early and I was out Friday because my own child was ill.  I missed everyone because I could not be there.
